Welcome to the on-line home of St Peters Lutheran Church (previously
known as Resurrection Lutheran Church). We meet on the campus of
St Peters
Lutheran College, in the western suburb of Indooroopilly, Brisbane.
You are welcome & invited to join us at any time.

ST PETERS MINISTRY TEAM
Wonderful things are happening in the Ministry Team at St Peters! A few
weeks ago we welcomed Pastor Michael Mayer into our Team. In Term 3 we
will welcome Silke Moolmann into the Chaplaincy Team. Suddenly we are
forging ahead with Ministry at St Peters in new and exciting ways. Each
Chaplain has an area of main responsibility, however we all work
together as a team that serves the whole St Peters community, including
the College and the Congregation.
Chaplain Kirstin has primary responsibility for the Junior and Middle
Schools.She also assists in the Congregation and with Chapel
Administration.
Pastor Michael has primary responsibility for the Junior High, Ironbark
and Boys Boarding. It is a huge job, but he also finds time to help lead
worship in the Congregation!
Chaplain Silke will have, from the start of Term 3, primary
responsibility for the Senior School and Girls Boarding. She will also
play a role in the Congregation.
Chaplain Jim heads up Chaplaincy at Springfield as well as working in
the Counselling dept at Indooroopilly.
Pastor Pete has primary responsibility for the Congregation, but has
oversight and input into all areas of St Peters.
In addition Pastor Rick Strelan, Pastor Peter Close and Pastor Reini
Mayer are available for Ministry within our Congregation.
JOIN A GROUP
Our St Peters church community has a number of active smaller groups.
Below is a list, with contact numbers. All, especially those new to
the congregation, are invited and welcome to join one or more of these.
Junior Youth
For children in Years 4-7. Meet in the Junior School Undercroft, St
Peters Lutheran College from 6.30pm to 8pm, on the second and fourth
Friday of each month during Term. Cost $5 a session. Contact: Pastor
Peter Bowmer.
TRIBE
For young people in Years 8-12. In TRIBE young people get to explore
and CONFIRM their faith, and of course have a whole lot of fun and food.
Meet in the P&F Centre, St Peters Lutheran College from 6.30pm to
8:30pm, on the second and fourth Friday of each month during Term. Cost
$5 a session. Contact: Pastor Peter Bowmer.
Sunday School
9am most Sunday mornings (except School Holidays) and caters for
children from Kindy to Year 3.
Women's Fellowship & Bible Study
Meet monthly in someone's home (date and times decided at each meeting).

Choir
The choir meets every Thursday 7:30pm in Ministry Centre. Contact:

Sunrise Breakfast
7am, on various Saturdays as announced. Held in the Staff Dining area above the
Ministry Centre. Guest speaker. $7 per head. Contact: Church office, 3377

FISH Groups (Fellowship In Someone's Home)
Group facilitators would love to hear from members (and guests!) who are
interested in joining a home group for friendship, support, discussion,
prayer.
Social Touch Football
4:30pm, every Sunday @ Reini Mayer Oval (below P&F Centre, St Peters
Lutheran College. Everyone of all levels welcome. |

All regular services are held at St Peters Lutheran College Chapel, 66 Harts Rd,
Indooroopilly. Entering via Lambert Road entrance is the way to go as
The Chapel is over that side of the school. The Chapel is located at the the
top of the hill when driving in from Lambert Rd or Lohe St, adjacent to the internal roundabout.
Most services include Holy Communion.
Everyone is welcome and invited, so don't be a stranger.
10:30AM SERVICES RESUME SUNDAY 29 JAN
2012
Usually we offer a more traditional service at 9am each Sunday morning,
followed by a less formal service at 10:30am, with morning tea in
between. However there will be no 10:30am Casual Services until they
resume on Sunday 29 Jan 2012. Both services usually offer communion & more than a few friendly faces
:)
MID-WEEK COMMUNION
A Holy Communion Service is celebrated every Wednesday of Term at 7:30am
in the Chapel. All are most welcome!

Ministry Centre
Offices for the Pastor & Congregational Support are in located in the
Ministry Centre - St Peters Lutheran College, Chapel Road (internal road
accessed by Lambert Rd entrance), Indooroopilly. The Ministry Centre is
adjacent to the car park area before the small internal roundabout. If
you know the school, the Ministry Centre is located underneath the Staff
Dining area of Cafe 45.
